Our Mission

To facilitate regular interaction between international organizations in New England that promote business, trade relations and understanding with countries world wide.

 

About the Alliance

In February 1996, The British American Business Council of New England Inc. (BABCNE), hosted the first International Networking evening in Boston, which was attended by over 500 participants from 24 International Organizations in the New England region. Following the success of this event a second event, at which member associations exhibited, was held in October attended by over 700 participants.

This momentum continued with the formation of the Global Business Alliance of New England Inc. (GBANE) Urszula Wojciechowska, Executive Director of BABCNE, spearheaded the initiative and was elected president in 1997.

The Alliance is a volunteer network under which the Officers of the participating associations meet regularly for the mutual benefit of their memberships. All associations representatives play an active role in the governance and growth of the Alliance.
